The South Genesee Street construction project is scheduled to begin next week (week of May 12).  This project will extend from the RR tracks to Winfield Street.  New ADA sidewalk ramps, catch basins, surface milling, new asphalt surface and crosswalk markings are part of this project.  The project is being completed by Helm-Civil (Freeport IL) and is expected to last about 4 weeks.  Please expect temporary and partial closures during the project.

This morning, Interim Chief of Police Michael Moon was sworn-in by Mayor Vandermyde! Chief Moon has been serving the Morrison community since 2017.
