Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning/Zoning Board of Appeals is required by Illinois State law. The Board hears appeals on actions taken by the Zoning Administrator and on requests for zoning changes. Their decisions are recommendations to the City Council, which upholds or denies the Boards recommendations. The Board functions only as a hearing board and is not authorized to become involved in the day-to-day administration of the Zoning Code.

The Board meets the last Wednesday of the month at 5:30 PM at City Hall.
