No dogs are allowed in the cemetery. Owners are responsible for the removal of any waste from such animals in public streets, sidewalks, alleys, parkways, and other public places. It is recommended that all pet owners properly tag their pet, which should include owner’s name, address, and phone number.

Peddlers & Solicitors

Anyone wishing to engage in business as a peddler or solicitor within the City is required to obtain a license from the city clerk and pay a fee prior to engaging in the practice.

Street Closure

From time to time various civic organizations require the closure of city streets in order to host a community event and/or festival. Although such activities are of benefit to the community, there are attendant concerns in the area of vehicles/pedestrian safety; traffic flow; and exposure to increased risk of liability. Therefore it is necessary for the City to establish certain requirements regarding the closure of city streets. It is the intent of the Street Closure Permit to ensure the public’s safety during any event held on city property.
