Sidewalk Improvement Program

Sidewalk Replacement Program Returns
Property Owners Encouraged to Contact City to Participate

This summer, the City of Morrison will be bringing back the Sidewalk Replacement Program.  This program consists of the replacement of deteriorated or dangerous sidewalks in the City of Morrison by utilizing contracted labor.

Sidewalks must be in need of repair to be eligible for replacement.  Homeowners wanting to request and inspection of their sidewalk need to contact City Hall at 772-7657 with the information.  An appointment will be made for the resident to meet with the Superintendent of Public Services.  If the sidewalk qualifies for replacement, the Superintendent will inform the resident of the program details.

The home owner and the city will each share in the replacement cost on a 50/50 basis.  This years cost will be determined after a bidding process later this summer.  Stay tuned for further information as it becomes available.
