OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS
SPECIAL SESSION

I.                   CALL TO ORDER              The Morrison City Council met in a special session called by three members of the City Council at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 200 West Main Street.  Mayor Roger Drey called the meeting to order.  In City Clerk Schroeder’s absence, City Administrator Long recorded the minutes. 

II.                ROLL CALL                        Aldermen present on roll call were: Barbara Bees, James Blakemore, Scott Connelly, Dave Rose, Ann Slavin, and Bob Snodgrass.  Council members Gus Hayenga and Patricia Zuidema were absent.  City Administrator Tim Long was also present.

 III.             PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE         Mayor Drey led the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance.

 IV.              ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION

 1.      Executive Session – Matters of Litigation

Motion by Blakemore, second by Bees to adjourn to an executive session of the Council at 7:33 p.m. for discussion of matters regarding litigation.  Roll call vote: six “ayes” and two “absent”.  Motion carried.  

Motion by Snodgrass, second by Bees to return to regular session of the City Council at 8:52 p.m.  Roll call vote: six “ayes” and two “absent”.  Motion carried. 

Aldermen present on roll call were: Barbara Bees, James Blakemore, Scott Connelly, Dave Rose, Ann Slavin, and Bob Snodgrass.  Council members Gus Hayenga and Patricia Zuidema were absent. 

No action was taken by the City Council.

 V.                ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Rose, second by Blakemore to adjourn at 8:53 p.m.  Voice vote, all ayes.  Motion carried.
