Summer Rec ProgramBack To Top
The City of Morrison Rec Program has developed its 2008 Summer Program. It is held primarily in June.

Enrollment fees are listed with each program and are due at registration. Program booklets and general registration forms are available at City Hall. The registration forms are due by Monday, June 2, 2008. City Hall is located at 200 West Main Street, Morrison, Illinois. You may mail the registration form or drop it off during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. A one-time late registration fee of $5.00 will be charged for registrations received after June 2, 2008. NOTE: Completed release and permission forms are due with your registration. Please include only one child on each registration form and other forms.

The program locations are listed with each description. There are shelters available so the programs will still be held in slightly adverse weather, however, inclement weather may cancel the program for that day. Every effort to make up the program will be attempted, but it is not guaranteed. Our special trips have a maximum number of participants that we can take, so you will want to sign up early. We will have a waiting list available, however, this does not secure a spot in this trip as reservations have been made prior to the printing of the trips. Tuesday, June 17, 2008, 8:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., $15.00 per person

The Baby Bear Theatre Troupe has to get through all 231 of the Grimm Brother’s Fairy Tales, from Snow White to Cinderella! They have a Golden Storybook with all the tales inside - until someone drops the book and scatters all the pages. Now the fairy tales are all scrambled up. Pinocchio meets the Little Mermaid? Rumplestiltskin at the ball with Cinderella? The Big Bad Wolf and the Three Blind Mice? What will they do? It’s hysterical mixed-up fun for all.
