Christmas Walk

Each December, Morrison’s downtown is transformed into a winter wonderland. Businesses are encouraged to decorate their windows with the spirit of the Holidays. And, on the first Thursday in December, the Annual Morrison Christmas Walk is held. Our Hometown Christmas consists of a lighted parade, and still and live themed window displays. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on a lighted fire truck, and several businesses offer refreshments and a great place to warm up.

Other activities include horse-drawn wagon rides. Several local churches hold church suppers. Entertainment is provided at Wells Fargo Bank, Community State Bank, and Morrison's' Heritage Museum. After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus take requests at their cottage located on Main Street.

Whiteside County Fair

The Whiteside County Fair includes events such as a carnival – with rides and games for just about every age, a petting zoo, and grandstand events, including a tractor pull, a country music show, and the ever-popular demolition derbies. Please click here to visit the Whiteside County Fair website.
